This week was my first full week of classes, I am enjoying all my classes and the food at MSU. (Food is very important to me and something I'll keep talking about during this whole journey) I did have a meeting with my consoler this week and I'm sad to learn that I only have one more year to travel abroad. Currently, I am working to make my goal of traveling abroad a reality. Sadly, towards the end of this week things got hard because I started to feel sick (not from COVID) and I had to miss my classes on Friday. Thankfully, it's nothing too serious and hopefully I'll be good as new by Monday.

On the other hand, I did get to meet with my family and got to enjoy some quality time with them. The photos below are from last Saturday and Sunday when I got to go to the zoo and see some of my family from my mother side. Recently, I am in touch with one of my second cousin's who also attend Montclair, we are trying to meet up and get to know each other since we have never meet before. That's one thing that stays consistent in a latino family, you will always somehow meet new cousins and family members every year without fail. I am grateful, however, since now I have someone to share this experience with at Montclair. Hopefully everything turns out well and we can get along with each other.

Lastly, I really hope that when I am feeling better again I get to explore NY and maybe finally see the Statue of Liberty before it get too cold. I am 100% not looking forward for the cold northern weather and if I'm completely honest I wish it could just decide to take a break this year and maybe come back after new years when I am back home. Anyhow, I am really enjoying my time, except for the fact that I am sick.
